INTRODUCTION

Vibration principle:

By blowing air, the PEP and airflow are vibrated, and the vibration frequency reaches resonance with the frequency of human lungs. The oscillation of bronchial PEP is amplified, which loosens the sputum in the airway wall, increases the intrabronchial pressure intermittently, keeps the airway open during exhalation, and ensures that the sputum rises smoothly. Accelerates the expiratory airflow and promotes the expulsion of phlegm.

PEP positive pressure principle:
The airway is expanded by the positive pressure generated during exhalation, and the released secretions are pushed up from the bottom to the upper large trachea. Once it enters the thick trachea, the secretions are more easily excreted through coughing.
